Sodexo’s Corporate Services Division is seeking a Director of Facilities for this premier Life Science Manufacturer in Carlsbad, CA. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in total integrated facilities management, overseeing hard and soft services, landscaping, grounds, predictive and preventive maintenance, and property infrastructure through a skilled trades team. This leader will also be responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff, while demonstrating strong financial acumen and a strategic approach to facilities performance and innovation.

Develop and manage operating and capital budgets, driving cost and resource efficiencies, which may include energy savings program.
Partner with EHS to uphold safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
Direct vendor relationships and ensure quality service delivery.
Advance sustainability programs for energy efficiency and environmental stewardship.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing facilities and maintenance team.

5+ years of facilities leadership experience in a biotech, pharmaceutical, or advanced manufacturing environment.
Proven track record managing multi-building or campus-style facilities, ideally within a regulated (ISO, GMP) setting.
Strong project management and capital planning experience.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy management strategies
