Sodexo has an opportunity for a human resources professional to join the team as a Human Resources Manager 1 supporting SSM St. Anthony Hospitals in Midwest City, Shawnee, and SeminoleThe HR Manager will provide generalist support to about 125 food service and environmental services (EVS) employees.

 

This role will ensure adherence to all Sodexo policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on employee engagement and retention. Key responisbilites include recruitment and onboarding, HR compliance and documentation, employee relations, conducting investigations, performance and evaluations, and labor management.The ideal candidate will have human resources experience with a proactive mindset, high attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

What You'll Do

  • recruit and onboard frontline hires utilizing onboarding and payroll systems;
  • coordinate background checks, health screenings, and drug testing clearance;
  • conduct new hire orientation and ensure completion of all onboarding documents;
  • manage E-Verify/I-9 compliance;
  • maintain active and terminated employee files;
  • coordinate and conduct required monthly training;
  • support employee inquiries on benefits, payroll, and leaves of absence;
  • investigate and respond to employee relations issues and PeopleCenter submissions;
  • distribute and track Exit and Stay Interviews; maintain engagement and retention trackers;
  • partner with managers to execute yearly HR Retention Plan and engagement initiatives;
  • demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities and meet time demands.

What You Bring

  • fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Teams) and Smartsheet;
  • able to create and facilitate training utilizing webinars;
  • detailed oriented, flexible, and have ability to manage multiple priorities; and/or 
  • have excellent organization, communication and project management skills.
