Cloud Platform Automation & Integration Architect

We are seeking a Cloud Platform Automation & Integration Architect to join our dedicated North American Cloud Architecture team.

This is a remote role, with a preference for candidates residing in the Eastern Standard Time Zone. 

• Architect, design, develop, and troubleshoot cloud automation solutions across hybrid cloud environments.
• Collaborate with global teams (Infrastructure, Security, Network, Enterprise, Application & Data) to ensure secure, compliant deployments aligned with Sodexo standards.
• Design and implement automation roadmaps for infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Utilize tools like ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep, and PowerShell to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Integrate Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices into development lifecycles for consistent deployments.
• Implement security best practices, including MFA, encryption, and network security.
• Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams.
• Mentor DevOps engineers and promote global automation standards.
• Stay current with Azure technologies and recommend improvements to automation and DevOps practices.

• Expertise in Azure Cloud Automation Architecture with ability to design and implement infrastructure code.
• 5+ years in automation/software development architecture and 10+ years in DevOps or software development roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and scripting (PowerShell, Bicep, ARM templates, Azure CLI).
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools, version control (Git), and job execution tools.
• Strong knowledge of complex IT ecosystems, ITIL processes, and cloud architecture.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt to new technologies quickly.
