Role Overview

InReach is seeking a Financial Analyst 

 

This is a remote role with the preferred candidate residing on the East Coast

 

The Financial Analyst will support the segment’s finance team by providing financial analysis and assisting with the analysis and reporting of financial activities for the InReach segment. This position focuses on delivering accurate financial analysis and decision-support services for various financial and operational projects. The Financial Analyst will contribute to the preparation of reports and analysis for management, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and support the monthly financial close process.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with Sales and Account Management teams to support top-line performance analysis and provide actionable insights.
  • Assist in preparing reports and conducting customer analysis to identify opportunities for driving revenue growth.
  • Provide support to the Senior Finance Director and CFO on various projects, including ad hoc analyses and special initiatives as needed.
  • Prepare, track and report account activity data from various sources to assist the finance team.
  • Help prepare basic financial reports, such as revenue/expense tracking and simple budget updates.
  • Support the monthly close process by gathering and ensuring completeness of data.
  • Manage and process miscellaneous analysis related to KPIs reporting including account activity support to drive overall segment’s targets.
  • Assist with the integration of new business units by compiling financial information as directed.
  • Support finance team on financials models and scenarios.
  • Learn and apply basic financial concepts and tools to support ongoing projects.
  • Assist finance and accounting personnel on various projects as needed.

What You Bring

 

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of financial modeling and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently with supervision and collaborate within a team.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
  • 1-5 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles preferred.
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes is a plus.
  • Experience with SAP, Essbase, Power BI, or similar financial software preferred but not mandatory.
