Sodexo is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for a University in the Washington, DC area. The manager maintains close working relationships with the on-site managers regarding all quality and safety issues, performs several daily inspections and audits to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance, and assists managers in maintaining a viable customer service program.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and implement food safety & quality assurance policies and procedures
  • Perform daily routine pre-operational and periodic inspections and quality control tests, such as ATP and environmental swabbing
  • Identify and correct workflow and production issues
  • Ensure the operation complies with the quality manual policies and procedures
  • Coach team members on-site and address issues to superiors
  • Document, review, and organize quality assurance records
  • Make recommendations for improvement
  • Assist with food safety training 
  • Keep abreast of trends and regulations, and laws

What You Bring

  • Extensive knowledge of culinary platforms, processes, and product compliance.
  • Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Working knowledge of FDA regulations, allergen control, and food safety
  • HACCP knowledge
  • Basic laboratory technique/experience
