Bring your culinary expertise and leadership to Sodexo at Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa, California—the largest hospital in East County, serving the communities of La Mesa, El Cajon, and Santee. With 562 beds and a wide range of services from advanced cancer care to orthopedic surgery, labor and delivery, and emergency care, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a high-profile healthcare setting. As an Executive Chef 3, you’ll lead a talented culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences that support patient care and satisfaction.

What You'll Do

  • Direct all culinary operations, including patient dining, retail, catering, and production services.
  • Develop innovative, health-focused menus that meet dietary and regulatory standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of employees across four service areas to achieve excellence in quality and service.
  • Manage budgets, food costs, and operational efficiencies while ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
