Role Overview

InReach is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategy & Projects to help shape the future of our convenience solutions business — spanning vending, micromarkets, and pantry services. This role bridges technology, data, and business operations to ensure our digital roadmap supports growth, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

 

The Senior Manager, Strategy Projects will partner across IT, operations, account management, and vendor partners to lead cross-functional initiatives, and elevate how we plan, track, and deliver solutions.

You’ll be the connective tissue between tactical execution and strategic business priorities — ensuring our systems, data, reporting, and digital tools align with where the business is headed.

 

This is a remote role with the preferred candidate residing in the DMV or in the Austin, TX area.

What You'll Do

Strategic Planning & Business Alignment

  • Partner with leadership to develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap for digital enablement, operational improvement, and growth initiatives.
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities in technology, process, and data visibility.
  • Support leadership in setting priorities, sequencing initiatives, and aligning resources across functions.
  • Lead the development of business cases, presentations, and performance tracking for strategic programs in alignment with finance.

Program & Project Management

  • Oversee cross-functional projects that advance business capabilities — from new platform implementations to process redesigns and vendor transitions.
  • Build and manage structured project plans using tools like Smartsheet or Microsoft Project, ensuring milestones, risks, and deliverables are transparent and on track.
  • Establish repeatable project management and governance practices that improve how the business executes complex initiatives.
  • Partner closely with operations, finance, and digital teams to ensure consistent alignment and communication.

Process Optimization & Vendor Partnerships

  • Map and optimize key business processes, identifying pain points and designing scalable solutions.
  • Lead or support vendor relationship management, including re-writing and negotiating MSAs and SOWs that support evolving business needs.
  • Coordinate with external partners to ensure service delivery aligns with business goals and standards.

Data, Analytics & Reporting

  • Collaborate with analytics teams to turn data into insight — building Power BI dashboards, tracking KPIs, and developing data-driven recommendations.
  • Synthesize complex operational and financial data to support decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Drive consistency and visibility in how data is reported and used across programs and business units.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, strategy, or business transformation, ideally in a service-based environment (foodservice, facilities, or retail preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of process improvement, project governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Skilled in Smartsheet, Power BI, Excel, and project management tools.
  • PMP certification or formal project management training preferred. PROSCI or change certification is an extra plus.
  • Exceptional communicator and relationship builder who can align stakeholders across business, technology, and vendor partners.
  • Analytical, structured thinker with the ability to balance strategic vision with executional detail.
