Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian-Clinical Nutrition Manager for PIH Good Samaritan Hospital in Downtown Los Angeles, CA, with 408 beds. PIH Health has a variety of units, including a NICU, Transitional Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit, and Respiratory! 

 

 

                               Start with 3 weeks’ vacation and 3 personal days per calendar year!

Reimbursement for Academy dues, Memberships, Advanced Certifications, and CDR renewal!
Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the Clinical Nutrition Program at PIH Good Samaritan
  • Work in conjunction with the Sodexo leadership team for PIH Health Hospital
  • Manages 5 Registered Dietitian nutritionists and 6 diet office staff
  • Oversee the Electronic Medical Record transition from Altera to Epic System

What You Bring

  • A Registered Dietitian credential 
  • Prior experience in an acute care setting as a lead dietitian or clinical nutrition manager preferred
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
