Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking our Facilities Engineering Manager for our client-partners Oral Roberts University, a conservative, faith-based university in Tulsa, OK. Our budgeted salary is on the highest end of the posted range. Higher Education Experience in Facilities Management and Project Management is preferred. Our leader will have exceptional people skills to lead and mentor our team. Reporting directly to the Director of Facilities, this role will be responsible for managing a team of 30 Maintenance Techs with a scope of 41 buildings including administrative and student housing. We are seeking a Maintenance Manager with a strong understanding of managing large complex properties, managing maintenance technicians in HVAC, Boilers, Chillers, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint and Repair. Valid Driver's License with clear driving background is required.

What You'll Do

  • Valid Driver's License with clear driving background is required
  • Combine your proven leadership and Facilities Management technical expertise to enhance client programs including short- and long-range planning, preventative and corrective maintenance and energy management
  • Manage with expertise and a strong understanding of the nuances of Integrated Facilities Management including Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical HVAC, Boilers and Chillers, Paint and building repair
  • Train, develop and engage our skilled trades and frontline hourly team
  • Manage and Train technicians on Work Orders in our Mobile CMMS
  • Manage schedules, payroll, safety and technical training
  • Safety Program Management experience is a plus

  • A proven track record of successful Facilities Management leadership experience as demonstrated by articulated results and accomplishments
  • Strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural and energy management

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years          

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services
