Sodexo is seeking a Mail Clerk 2 for a corporate service client in Schaumburg, IL. This position is responsible for efficiently handling, processing, and distributing all incoming and outgoing mail and packages for the corporate office. This role ensures timely delivery of correspondence, maintains accurate tracking records, and provides exceptional internal customer service to support daily business operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a secure and efficient mailroom environment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, have excellent interpersonal skills, and must enjoy people to achieve excellent customer service.
Sort, process, and deliver incoming mail, packages, and interoffice correspondence
Prepare, meter, and send outgoing mail and shipments; ensure correct postage and carrier selection
Coordinate daily pick-ups and deliveries with USPS, FedEx, UPS, DHL, and couriers
Maintain mail/package logs and ensure secure handling of confidential items
Manage mailroom supplies, postage funds, and basic equipment upkeep
Provide support for employee mailing requests and large departmental shipments
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized mailroom environment
