Sodexo's Campus Segment is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY. This is a prestigious role at a prestigious institution, offering the opportunity to lead a dynamic dining program that supports an exceptional campus community.
As part of the leadership team, you’ll provide direction and supervision for both exempt and non-exempt food service staff, ensuring that operations run smoothly and in alignment with Sodexo’s mission, values, and contractual commitments. You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and service across residential dining operations.
Oversee all aspects of daily food operations within the residential dining program.
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and service that enhances the student dining experience.
Drive operational excellence to meet and exceed financial, client, and customer goals.
Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team to achieve performance and service standards.
Manage budgets, food and labor costs, inventory, and ordering processes.
Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
Build strong client and customer relationships and contribute to long-term strategic planning.

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
