Sodexo’s Campus Segment is seeking an experienced General Manager 5 to lead dining operations at Colby-Sawyer College, located in New London, NH. The General Manager 5 is responsible for overseeing all aspects of account operations, including financial performance, team leadership, client relations, and service excellence. You will manage through subordinate managers and ensure compliance with contractual obligations while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
As the General Manager 5, you will direct all contract management services at a single-unit account while providing strong local leadership and strategic direction. You will guide a high-performing team, foster strong client partnerships, and support innovative dining solutions that sustain growth in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, has experience opening accounts, and is comfortable working across multiple service environments.
Lead all contract services across the campus dining program to ensure quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Oversee and develop the management and administrative team, ensuring strong performance in areas such as special functions, cash controls, payroll, and daily operations.
Drive customer and client satisfaction through service excellence, innovation, and relationship management.
Develop and execute growth strategies aligned with campus needs and Sodexo’s business goals.
Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, labor, and cost controls to meet or exceed targets.
Hire, train, and empower staff, building a strong team culture focused on service, safety, and accountability.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and campus leadership, representing Sodexo with professionalism and integrity.

Proven experience as a senior leader in foodservice, hospitality, campus dining, or related industries.
Demonstrated ability to open accounts or lead complex operational transitions.
Strong background in hospitality, or multi-segment operations, with the ability to adapt to diverse service environments.
Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and developing management-level employees.
Strong financial acumen, including full P&L and Fee responsibility, budgeting, and forecasting.
A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, client relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
