Role Overview

Sodexo Energy & Resource is seeking an experienced Operations Manager I, Multi-Service to support a key client on-site in Covington, LA. The Operations Manager is responsible for managing the safety and daily facilities management activities in Janitorial, Landscaping, Pest Control, and General Site Services. What You'll Do

  • Maintain and develop client relationships and client satisfaction for two or more core services to ensure account retention while also fulfilling contractual obligations to the client.
  • Supervise a team of 20 or more frontline staff on day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, scheduling and prioritizing activities, and monitoring operating standards.
  • Establish a safe work environment for employees by providing safety-related training and equipment maintenance and by ensuring compliance with Sodexo safety and loss prevention programs.
  • Plan projects, including defining objectives, methods, timetables, and budget to support client and Sodexo strategic plans.
  • Manage the budget by controlling costs (e.g. labor, inventory, equipment, materials), complying with budget requirements and making adjustments when necessary.
  • Be accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience leading, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in managing soft services including but not limited to Janitorial, Landscaping, Pest Control, Mail-room Services, Event coordination, and Site Services.  
  • Hands-on experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills to maintain and grow client partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and executing projects and events.
  • Familiarity with oil & gas environments is a plus.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services
