Candidates must follow one of California’s approved pathways to serve as a Director of Healthcare Foodservice—such as being a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM), a Registered Dietitian (RD), or meeting other state-recognized qualifications.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance: Maintain strict adherence to healthcare standards, food safety, and Sodexo policies.
  • Enhance patient experience: Collaborate with clinical teams to deliver exceptional service that supports patient care and satisfaction.

What You Bring

  • Healthcare leadership experience: 5+ years managing food service in a hospital or healthcare environment.
  • Financial and operational expertise: Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
  • Client and patient focus: Ability to build strong relationships and deliver outstanding service in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards: Familiarity with HACCP, Joint Commission, and other healthcare regulations.
