Sodexo Government Services is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join the operations and support teams that provides food-service at a high profile government agency located at McLean, VA.  These locations offer a variety of services to include traditional cafes, catering, and national brands.  Various locations are spread across the DMV area.

 

We are seeking a candidate who is excited about driving our business at multiple site through innovation. This job requires a willingness to share insights on market trends and analysis of financial data to help the team develop business plans to drive business. Must be proficient in grafics programs for enhancing the marketing material in the unit. Also getting involved in providing information and marketing for large functions when needed.

What You'll Do

  • Is responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all marketing activities throughout the enterprise.
  • Develops and implements an annual marketing plan
  • Moderate to advance knowledge with Microsoft applications including: Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Implement and develop marketing promotions and initiatives that drives sales and growth
  • Drives growth through planning, development and execution of growth initiatives
  • Reviews and analyzes data to communicate trends, opportunities and actionable items
  • Manages the process of data and content consolidation from multiple sources to create monthly newsletter and biannual report/presentation.
  • Forges collaborative relationships with the operations team, and clients.
  • Utilizes and develops marketing champion networks to expand marketing efforts.

What You Bring

  • Strong marketing background and writing skills
  • Review and analyze KPI reports, consumer surveys and other captured data to identify and communicate trends and opportunities.
  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to gather content, then create and deliver the presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills. Candidate will have direct interaction with the operations teams and clients. 
  • Client relationship skills and the ability to quickly respond to client and management needs
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Ability to foster a team environment, engaging all stakeholders to drive engagement and positive outcomes.
  • Ability to engage teams across multiple time-zones with multiple activities & priorities.
