Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their clinical team at USC Arcadia Hospital, located in Arcadia, CA. 

about 13 miles northeast of downtown Los Angeles in the San Gabriel Valley and at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains.  We are now part of the Keck Medicine of USC. This acute care facility is licensed for 348 beds with an average census of 240: 40 beds in the Critical Care Units, a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a Bariatric Program, and a Rehabilitation Department with a 30-bed inpatient unit.

What You'll Do

  • Be responsible for conducting nutrition care and patient assessments for the inpatient population with a variety of disease states in acute care and critical nutrition support 
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities and prior experience with room service preferred 
  • Creatively problem solve, work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions while working within a self-directed and team-oriented work environment

What You Bring

  • A valid Registered Dietitian credential with experience in acute care and critical nutrition support
  • Prior experience in the PI/QI initiatives with an interest in improving their clinical knowledge
  • The ability to be self-motivated, excited to learn new processes and a passion to elevate their clinical career and passionate about nutrition and desire to elevate our practice
  • Be self-directed, flexible, and a team player 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule and available to work weekends, and rotating holidays

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

 

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
