Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4 of Food Service for Parkview Mirro Event and Conference Center located in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  

 

The Parkview Mirro Event and Conference Center is an elegant facility providing extensive services and a host of amenities. The sophisticated, modern facility is a perfect background for special events. The facility offers event spaces that accommodate corporate, nonprofit and special events, social occasions, fundraisers and private parties.

 

Seeking a polished leader with the ability to engage and influence at all levels, from hourly staff to C-Suite client executives and VIPs.  

What You'll Do

  • have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals to include oversight of cash-handling and any POS systems;
  • manage all catered events from simple breakfast and lunch set-ups and deliveries to high-end, seated, plated and coursed lunches and dinners, to large picnic/buffet events for several thousand;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly) staff; and/or
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years
