Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 1 to join our culinary team at Carroll Lutheran Village, a large and upscale continuing care retirement community in Westminster, Maryland. Our dining program features a diverse range of venues, including a café, two restaurants, a pub for independent living residents, a skilled care dining room, an assisted living dining room, and a full catering operation.
In this hands-on culinary leadership role, the Executive Chef 1 will work closely with and report to the Executive Chef 3, overseeing a team of approximately 10 culinary staff members. This is a great opportunity to grow your culinary career! This position typically follows a 10:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. schedule, with every other weekend coverage. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in senior living, restaurants, or country clubs who are passionate about high-quality food and service.

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
