GM / Chef Manager – Corporate Dining

Location: Overland, KS

Salary: 70K plus bonus

 

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a hands‑on, customer‑focused GM/Chef Manager to lead one of our dynamic corporate dining accounts in Overland, KS. This is an exciting opportunity for a culinary‑driven manager who enjoys balancing great food, great service, and great business results.

 

About the Operation

This account features a streamlined and welcoming program that includes:

  • 1 Corporate Café with 3 stations (Breakfast & Lunch only!)
  • Catering operations
  • Micro‑market
  • Office Coffee Services (OCS)

Enjoy the stability of Monday–Friday daytime hours with a few evenings and weekends a year while leading a small but impactful team.

What You'll Do

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a strong client relationship
  • Manage all financials including budget, forecasting, and cost controls
  • Lead menu planning, ordering, and inventory
  • Drive catering production and ensure quality execution
  • Balance duties as 70% hands-on Chef and 30% administrative leader
  • Oversee food & labor cost standards
  • Manage and motivate a team of 4 hourly employees
  • Handle HR-related responsibilities including scheduling, payroll, and training

This is a perfect role for a chef who enjoys leading an operation end-to-end and making a daily impact.

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
