Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a Food Operations Manager 1 to join our team at HCA Healthpark in Brentwood, TN. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys balancing café operations with a vibrant catering program.

In this dual‑focused role, you’ll split your time 50% café operations and 50% catering, ensuring exceptional service, smooth daily operations, and a welcoming experience for all guests.

Incentives

M-F 6am to 4pm with very rare evenings and no weekends

What You'll Do

As the Food Operations Manager, you will be the driving force behind the customer experience, front‑of‑house operations, and catering excellence.

Café Operations (50%)

You will oversee all front‑of‑house activity, including:

  • Ensuring cashiers are signed in and ready for service
  • Managing daily café setup for breakfast and lunch
  • Overseeing digital signage accuracy and marketing initiatives

Your leadership will help create a café environment that is welcoming, efficient, and guest‑focused.

 

Catering Operations (50%)

You will manage both day‑to‑day catering and support special events throughout the year.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Managing catering orders and logistics using CaterTrax
  • Ensuring timely delivery of food to on‑site event locations
  • Communicating with clients, assisting with booking and event planning
  • Overseeing menu coordination, ordering, and event setup

The role is 90% daily catering activity and 10% special events, giving you the chance to blend routine operations with creative event execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
