Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2

Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services Operations Manager for Outer Banks Health in Nags Head, NC, part of the 9-hospital ECU Health System. This position supports this progressive organization by providing supporting leadership for our Environmental Services team in the delivery of safe, sanitary and innovative services. This position supports Day Shift at this 21-bed facility and will oversee a team of 20. There will be a need for flexibility on the shift as business needs dictate other timeframes that might need coverage at this 24/7 operation. Role will oversee mostly day shift, but covers all three shifts. 

This role will support floor care projects, payroll, and lead the team in engagement.  Preferred candidates will have experience in Environmental Services, Hotels housekeeping and/or Custodial Services, military service, and excellent customer service skills.  Sodexo is seeking a true self-starter who can lead a team under minimal supervision. Sodexo is seeking a true self-starter; very hands on manager who can lead a team under minimal supervision and troubleshoot issues to ensure a cohesive team.

• Driving Patient Satisfaction Scores and attaining KPI results monthly, quarterly and Yearly
• Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff for all areas of the operation.
• Works closely with the Infectious Control department. OR and other departments of the facility
• A strong focus on department initiatives
• Responsible for driving client satisfaction
• Support an inclusive workforce.

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
