As the Healthcare Dining Manager, you will:

• Lead daily patient dining operations to ensure exceptional service, meal accuracy, and patient satisfaction
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop frontline patient dining employees and supervisors
• Conduct patient rounding and service recovery to enhance the overall patient experience
• Collaborate with nursing, dietitians, and clinical leadership to support quality patient care
• Monitor patient satisfaction metrics and implement action plans for continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, sanitation, infection prevention, and regulatory standards
• Support labor management, scheduling, productivity, and operational performance
• Foster a culture of hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Maintain readiness for regulatory surveys, Sodexo Gold Checks, and quality audits

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven leadership experience in healthcare food service, hospitality, or patient dining operations
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing frontline employees
• Excellent customer service and service recovery skills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred qualifications:

• Healthcare food service or patient dining management experience
• Knowledge of patient meal service systems and healthcare food service operations
• Experience collaborating with nursing, dietitians, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Experience with patient satisfaction initiatives such as Press Ganey or HCAHPS
• Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and regulatory compliance
• Experience leading unionized teams is a plus
