General Manager 4 – Corporate Dining

Sodexo Corporate Services | Mass General Brigham Headquarters – Somerville, MA

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking an experienced, dynamic General Manager 4 to lead our hospitality and dining operations at the state‑of‑the‑art Mass General Brigham Headquarters in Somerville, MA. This is an exciting, high‑visibility role for a passionate leader who thrives on innovation, exceptional service, and building strong client partnerships.

What You’ll Lead

You’ll oversee a multifaceted, modern corporate foodservice program that includes:

  • A vibrant Café featuring four distinct stations:
    • Grill
    • Deli
    • Action station (3 days/week)
    • Market Bar / Salad Bar
  • A dedicated Coffee Bar and Micro‑Market located just outside the café
  • Corporate pantries that support daily employee needs
  • Conference center services (growing business opportunity!)
  • Full-service corporate catering for meetings, events, and executive functions

Hours of service:

  • Café: 7:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
  • Coffee Bar: Open until 3:00 p.m.

Incentives

M-F 6am to 4pm with some evenings, and rare weekends

What You'll Do

As the on‑site leader, you'll serve as the #1 operational and strategic partner for both Sodexo and our client. You will:

  • Build and maintain a strong, collaborative relationship with the client and key stakeholders
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 2 salaried managers and 10 hourly employees
  • Oversee all daily operations, ensuring excellence in food quality, service, safety, and presentation
  • Drive financial performance, budget management, and forecasting
  • Elevate catering services and help grow the conference center business
  • Champion a positive, customer‑centric culture across the team
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, process improvements, and new service offerings

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
