About the Role

The Executive Chef will oversee all culinary operations for a premier corporate dining account. This leader will drive menu innovation, elevate the guest experience, and cultivate a culture of creativity, sustainability, and culinary excellence. With a strong focus on quality and presentation, the Executive Chef will guide the culinary team, champion operational standards, and ensure every dish reflects Sodexo’s commitment to exceptional dining as this client is part of a Global Strategic Account.

 

SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo. This strategic alliance enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve.

 

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily culinary production with a hands‑on approach, ensuring high‑quality food, presentation, and consistency across café and catering services.

  • Develop creative menus for café offerings, meetings, and corporate events that reflect Sodexo standards and client expectations.

  • Supervise, train, and mentor culinary staff, fostering a positive kitchen culture focused on teamwork, safety, and excellence.

  • Manage ordering, inventory, vendor relationships, and cost controls to support financial and sustainability goals.

  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards while maintaining a clean, efficient kitchen environment.

  • Collaborate with client partners and onsite teams to deliver exceptional hospitality and elevate the workplace dining experience.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
