Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager 2 to support food service operations at McLean Southeast Medical Center, a behavioral healthcare campus dedicated to high-quality patient care. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys coaching teams, maintaining operational excellence, and being actively involved in food production and service.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, coach, and supervise 7 direct reports, including scheduling, training, and performance management
  • Maintain a hands-on presence in food production, cooking, and preparation as needed
  • Ensure compliance with Sodexo standards, client expectations, and all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Support patient, retail, and/or café operations with a focus on quality, safety, and service excellence
  • Utilize technology and computer systems for scheduling, ordering, inventory, and reporting
  • Foster strong communication across teams, leadership, and client stakeholders
  • Drive a positive team culture focused on accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement

What You Bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in food service or hospitality
  • Hands-on cooking and food preparation experience (required)
  • Strong technical and computer fluency (scheduling systems, inventory, reporting, email)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead teams in a healthcare or regulated environment
