Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic clinical team at Keck Medicine of USC, located in Los Angeles, CA. This position will be responsible for supporting the USC Transplant Institute as the Liver Transplant Dietitian. Our internationally renowned physicians and scientists provide world-class patient care at Keck Hospital of USC, USC Norris Cancer Hospital, USC Verdugo Hills Hospital, USC Arcadia Hospital and more than 100 unique clinics in Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, Tulare and Ventura counties as well as Las Vegas.

What You'll Do

  • Be responsible for supporting the USC Transplant Institute as the Liver Transplant Dietitian
  • This position is partially remote  
  • Having well versed experience in solid organ transplant care and nutrition therapy this role is specific to providing care to the liver disease, weight management, and diabetes patient population

What You Bring

 

  • A registered dietitian with at least 2-5 years of experience
  • An advanced degree and/or advanced specialty certification
  • The skills to take initiative, be innovative, and passionate about nutrition and elevating our practice
  • Self-directed, flexible, and a team player and have excellent time management, verbal, and written communication skills
  • experienced in PI/QI initiatives
  • In the absence of this experience, be excited and able to learn these processes

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

 

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision
