Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Sous Chef to support foodservice operations at Kaiser Permanente in Redwood City, California. This position is ideal for a hands-on culinary professional who enjoys leading food preparation at an assigned station while maintaining high standards in a healthcare environment. The Sous Chef plays an important role in daily kitchen execution, supporting quality, consistency, and teamwork.

What You'll Do

  • Lead food preparation and production at an assigned station, ensuring quality, consistency, and presentation standards
  • Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety practices
  • Provide direction and support to team members assigned to the station
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements in alignment with Sodexo and Kaiser Permanente standards
