Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a System Clinical Nutrition Manager for ProMedica, based in Toledo, Ohio, providing leadership for clinical nutrition services across a large, multi-hospital health system serving northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. This role leads a team of registered dietitians, drives clinical quality initiatives, and partners with interdisciplinary leadership to support high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for clinical nutrition services across a multi-hospital health system
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of registered dietitians across multiple locations
  • Drive clinical quality and performance improvement initiatives, including malnutrition identification
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards of practice
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinicians, hospital leadership, and executive stakeholders
  • Support system-wide clinical standardization, policies, and best practices
  • Monitor clinical outcomes, productivity, and key performance indicators
  • Promote employee engagement, retention, and professional development

What You Bring

  • Credentialed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration 
  • At least 6 years of leadership experience in an acute care or healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated success leading, supervising, coaching, and developing registered dietitians
  • Experience leading clinical quality improvement initiatives and driving evidence-based outcomes
  • Proven ability to build, engage, and retain high-performing clinical teams in a complex, multi-site environment
  • Strong collaboration skills with physicians, clinicians, and executive leadership
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and strategic planning skills

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire


Minimum Management Experience - 10 years management experience
Minimum Functional Experience - 10 years related functional experience
