Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a dedicated Patient Services Manager 2 to lead the Patient Dining Program at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, CA. This leadership role is ideal for a patient‑focused professional who is passionate about service excellence, collaboration, and creating a memorable healthcare dining experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in elevating patient satisfaction while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate, develop, and enhance service levels for the Patient Services Program to exceed patient and customer satisfaction goals
  • Oversee Sodexo’s Patient Dining Program, including daily meal rounding and effective service recovery
  • Collaborate closely with clinical, foodservice, and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the overall patient experience
  • Conduct tray assessments to ensure food quality, presentation, and tray accuracy
  • Exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and successfully lead through regulatory and compliance inspections

  • Knowledge of nutrition and specialized diets in a healthcare setting
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain service excellence in a fast‑paced environment
  • Registered Dietitian (RD), CDM, or Nutrition degree preferred

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
