Role Overview

Bring Your Passion for Dietetics to Sodexo on our Clinical Nutrition Team!

We are seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our team at the Health Center at Standifer Place in Chattanooga, TN. Standifer Place is a skilled nursing and assisted living community with 444 beds and an average census of 360 residents across two buildings. What You'll Do

  • Conduct MDS assessments for new admissions and annual reviews across SNF and AL units
  • Perform meal rounds, resident assessments, and nutritional audits
  • Attend care conferences and conduct dietitian talks with residents and families
  • Provide hands-on clinical nutrition support and kitchen training

What You Bring

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) credential or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN); Registered Dietitian credential required
  • Active Tennessee dietitian licensure required
  • Experience in SNF, LTC, or assisted living settings preferred; new graduates welcome
  • Strong clinical assessment skills including MDS knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for resident and team engagement

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
