Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Patient Services Manager 1 to lead patient meal service operations at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital in Valencia, CA. This role is responsible for providing direction and oversight for patient dining services within patient care units, ensuring high levels of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction that support both patient experience and company retention.

What You'll Do

  • Direct daily operations of patient meal services across patient care units, ensuring staff have the equipment, inventory, and resources needed to meet service standards, goals, and deadlines.
  • Supervise day‑to‑day work activities by delegating responsibilities, assigning and scheduling staff, prioritizing tasks, and monitoring operating standards.
  • Establish and communicate operating standards while implementing quality improvements to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to ensure a patient‑centered dining experience and timely issue resolution.
  • Conduct operational audits and prepare reports to track performance, compliance, and continuous improvement opportunities.
