Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) to support clinical nutrition services at The Christ Hospital, a large acute care facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role supports patient-centered nutrition care in collaboration with registered dietitians and the broader healthcare team and includes a combination of patient interaction and operational support. Responsibilities include assisting with nutrition education and providing support in the infant formula (milk) room, preparing formula and human milk following established safety and quality standards. This is a full-time opportunity to work alongside an experienced and collaborative clinical nutrition team.

What You'll Do

  • Support registered dietitians in delivering patient-centered clinical nutrition care
  • Provide nutrition education and follow‑up to patients and families
  • Prepare infant formula and human milk for NICU patients following established procedures, safety standards, and supervision guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, inventory, and documentation in the infant formula room
  • Record nutrition-related activities accurately in the electronic medical record and work as part of the healthcare team

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice in a Dietetic Technician Program as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework in a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) as dictated by ACEND, or required coursework and supervised practice in a Certified Dietary Manager Program as dictated by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM)

 

Credentials Requirement:

  • Meets eligibility requirements for Nutrition & Dietetics Technician, Registered (DTR/NDTR) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) by the Certifying Board for Dietary Managers (CBDM)
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
