Lead Patient Dining Excellence at a Premier Academic Medical Center
Sodexo is seeking a passionate leader for a Patient Services Manager at Penn State Health’s flagship 628-bed medical center, Penn State Health - Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. HMC is central Pennsylvania’s only locally based academic medical center. A Magnet-designated hospital since 2007. Provides high-level, patient-focused medical care. The Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is the only medical facility in Pennsylvania to be accredited as a Level 1 trauma center for both children and adults. Hershey Medical Center shares its Hershey campus with Penn State Health Children’s Hospital, Penn State Cancer Institute and Penn State College of Medicine.
Oversee daily patient meal service operations across patient care units
Lead implementation and execution of HealthTouch platform and Experiencia initiatives
Support bedside ordering model and traditional patient meal delivery systems
Direct tray line operations serving approximately 300 patient meals per service
Manage and support a team of approximately 25 frontline employees
Supervise scheduling, delegation, and daily workflow to meet service standards
Conduct gold check audits and prepare performance reports
Establish operating standards and implement continuous quality improvements
Build strong relationships with hospital leadership and key clinical partners
Ensure compliance with Sodexo standards, food safety, and regulatory guidelines
Support inclusion initiatives and foster a collaborative client partnership
