Lead a premier hospitality program at a top financial services client.

 

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a dynamic General Manager (GM 5) to oversee a high-profile, single-site hospitality operation in Washington, DC. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a multi-faceted, high-visibility account and deliver a best-in-class employee and guest experience.

As the senior-most hospitality leader on-site, you’ll shape the experience, drive innovation, and build strong client partnerships—all while leading a high-performing team.

 

You’ll serve as the primary client contact for the Food Service Operation, ensuring seamless delivery, operational excellence, and an elevated “white glove” experience across all service lines.

Incentives

M-F 6am to 4pm with some evenings, no weekends

What You'll Do

Leadership & Operations

  • Oversee daily hospitality operations, ensuring teams are equipped, aligned, and delivering at a high level
  • Lead, coach, and develop a diverse management team
  • Maintain a strong, visible presence across all spaces and services

Client & Guest Experience

  • Deliver exceptional, white-glove service to clients, employees, and guests
  • Build meaningful relationships through proactive engagement
  • Act as the trusted advisor and hospitality expert to the client

Events & Retail Oversight

  • Provide hands-on support during peak meal periods and high-touch events
  • Ensure flawless execution of conference and catering services
  • Conduct regular walk-throughs and operational audits

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive new ideas, service enhancements, and customer experience initiatives
  • Use data and insights to evolve offerings and improve performance
  • Partner on marketing and promotional strategies

Financial & Operational Excellence

  • Own financial performance, reporting, and compliance
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and weekly/monthly reporting cycles
  • Support accounting processes including invoicing, accruals, and reporting

Training & Development

  • Build and execute impactful training programs focused on hospitality excellence
  • Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and continuous learning

Qualifications & Requirements
