Sodexo Energy & Resource is seeking a qualified Unit Safety Manager to drive a safety culture for an Oil & Gas client in Bartlesville, OK. This position is responsible for supporting safety management and compliance and ensuring legal compliance with all Federal (Provincial), State, and Local regulations. Help with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental audits to ensure compliance and identify potential safety hazards
Review and enforce the proper implementation of safety procedures such as controlling hazardous energy, managing confined spaces, fall prevention, and other specific safety hazards (asbestos, lead, GHS, etc.)
Work with the HSE leadership to help assess the effectiveness of the safety programs, using data to back up findings
Provide continuous support and guidance to staff regarding safety procedures and actions
Take direction from the Senior HS&E Manager while supporting overall safety management and accident prevention
Keep track of accident trends, and injury types, and generate progress reports
Facilitate corrective actions based on accident trends
Oversee the implementation of safety measures, training staff, and ensure clear communication and thorough reporting on safety
