Sodexo, a world leader in quality of life services, has an exciting new opening for a Compensation Consultant. 

As an integral part of the team, the Compensation Consultant will assist in the day-to-day operations of the department’s programs, this may include job evaluation, performance appraisal, salary administration, and incentive programs. Plan compensation programs, procedures, and practices to ensure consistency with the organization's overall objectives and compliance with professional standards, and state and federal regulatory requirements.

 

This is a remote position, candidates may reside anywhere within the United States.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Works to implement and administer company compensation programs, policies, and procedures to support and drive the achievement of business goals
  • Experience with job evaluations, market pricing, salary surveys, and well versed in reporting and analysis
  • Benchmark best practices to ensure programs are current concerning trends, practices, company philosophy, and competitive environment to enhance recruitment and retention initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and develop and provide education for leaders, HR, and other business units
  • Shares functional expertise, industry insights, and best practices with peers, internal clients, and others across the company as appropriate

What You Bring

Ideal Candidates will possess:

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of current Federal, State, and local compensation laws and regulations
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
  • Previous experience with survey management (PayScale, MarketPay, etc.)
  • Ability to act effectively as a consultant with all levels of staff (including executive level)
  • Ability to work independently, adapt to change and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to influence and collaborate with others.
  • Proficiency in software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
  • Human Resources or Compensation professional designation preferred

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in compensation
