Role Overview

Lead the Future of Workplace Dining

Sodexo is seeking a Resident District Manager to elevate and oversee a portfolio of innovative, experience‑driven corporate dining accounts across the region. This role is designed for a leader who thrives at the intersection of food, hospitality, and strategy — someone who can inspire teams, strengthen client partnerships, and deliver exceptional workplace dining experiences.

As Resident District Manager, you’ll guide General Managers and Executive Chefs across multiple locations, ensuring each site delivers best‑in‑class food programs, operational excellence, and a warm, hospitality‑first culture. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you’ll shape vision, raise standards, and influence the dining experience for thousands of guests each day.

Why This Role Matters

This region values fresh food, thoughtful service, and meaningful experiences — and this role places you at the center of it. You’ll lead a team passionate about elevating workplace dining, shaping culture, and delivering hospitality that feels personal, intentional, and memorable.

If you’re energized by multi‑site leadership, client partnership, and the opportunity to transform how people experience food at work, this role gives you the platform to make a lasting impact.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Multi‑Site Operations — Oversee a portfolio of corporate dining locations, ensuring consistent execution of culinary, service, and operational standards.

  • Develop & Mentor Leaders — Coach and support General Managers, Chefs, and frontline teams to build high‑performing, hospitality‑driven operations.

  • Strengthen Client Partnerships — Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, anticipate needs, and deliver strategic, solutions‑focused support.

  • Drive Financial Performance — Manage district‑level financials including budgeting, forecasting, labor oversight, and cost‑control initiatives.

  • Champion Innovation — Introduce new concepts, elevate guest experience, and lead continuous improvement across all sites.

  • Ensure Safety & Compliance — Maintain rigorous standards for food safety, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance across all operations.

What We Offer

Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education, and training. Sodexo offers a comprehensive benefits package that may include:

  • Medical, Dental, Vision Care and Wellness Programs
  • 401(k) Plan with Matching Contributions
  • Paid Time Off and Company Holidays
  • Career Growth Opportunities and Tuition Reimbursement

More extensive information is provided to new employees upon hire.

What You Bring

  • Proven Multi‑Site Leadership — Experience leading multiple locations or large, complex operations with a focus on consistency, culture, and performance.

  • Hospitality‑Driven Mindset — A passion for creating warm, memorable dining experiences and elevating service standards across diverse teams.

  • Financial & Operational Acumen — Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost control in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Client Partnership Skills — Ability to build trust, communicate effectively, and deliver strategic solutions that strengthen long‑term relationships.

  • Talent Development Strength — A track record of coaching leaders, developing teams, and fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and engagement.

  • Innovation & Change Leadership — Comfort driving transformation, introducing new concepts, and elevating the guest experience through creativity and continuous improvement.
