Role Overview

The Good Eating Company is looking for a dynamic, hospitality‑obsessed General Manager to lead a premium, chef‑driven food program inside a fast‑moving, creatively charged corporate environment in New York City. If you’re energized by exceptional food, elevated service, and creating moments people actually remember, this is your stage.

You’ll operate within a modern, studio‑inspired workspace — open, collaborative, design‑forward, and built to support creativity and high‑performance teams. In this role, you’ll run a multi‑concept dining operation that blends culinary creativity, operational excellence, and next‑level hospitality. You’ll shape the vibe, lead the team, partner with clients, and make sure every detail — from the food to the flow to the feel — is on point.

We’re looking for a hospitality‑first operator with strong business instincts, a love for fresh, seasonal food, and the ability to inspire teams in a high‑expectation, high‑energy NYC setting.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily dining operations across a fast‑moving, design‑forward corporate environment, ensuring every service moment feels intentional and elevated

  • Act as the primary client liaison for workplace hospitality operations, building trust and alignment through proactive communication

  • Drive hospitality excellence by shaping the guest experience, service standards, and overall vibe of the space

  • Partner closely with clients to align on vision, expectations, and evolving workplace needs

  • Lead and develop high‑performing teams through coaching, inspiration, and a culture of accountability and care

  • Ensure operational and financial performance through smart planning, quality control, and continuous improvement

What We Offer

Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education, and training. Sodexo offers a comprehensive benefits package that may include:

  • Medical, Dental, Vision Care and Wellness Programs
  • 401(k) Plan with Matching Contributions
  • Paid Time Off and Company Holidays
  • Career Growth Opportunities and Tuition Reimbursement

More extensive information is provided to new employees upon hire.

What You Bring

  • A hospitality‑first leadership style rooted in warmth, presence, and an obsession with creating memorable guest experiences

  • Experience leading premium food or hospitality operations in fast‑moving, high‑expectation environments

  • Strong business and operational instincts with the ability to balance quality, creativity, and financial performance

  • A passion for fresh, seasonal food and the ability to champion a chef‑driven culinary point of view

  • Team‑building and people‑development skills that inspire confidence, growth, and a culture of hospitality

  • Adaptability and composure to thrive in a dynamic, creatively charged corporate setting
