Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Environmental Services Manager to oversee EVS vendor services in a highly regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in King of Prussia, PA. This role is responsible for overseeing third-party cleaning operations to ensure compliance with GMP, quality, safety, and contractual requirements while maintaining a state of continuous audit readiness. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between the client, cleaning vendor, and Sodexo leadership, driving accountability, operational excellence, and service delivery performance. This individual will monitor vendor compliance, review documentation, manage KPI performance, and coordinate cleaning activities to support production schedules and business priorities. The role requires a strong understanding of GMP environments, quality systems, and vendor management best practices. This is a vendor oversight position and does not include direct supervision of cleaning staff or execution of cleaning activities.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee vendor performance to ensure compliance with GMP requirements, SOPs, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Sodexo, the client, and the cleaning vendor, facilitating communication and issue resolution.
  • Review cleaning documentation, logs, and compliance records to maintain audit readiness and support inspections.
  • Monitor vendor performance against established KPIs and SLAs, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate cleaning activities with production schedules to ensure consistent service delivery and operational alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements, training standards, PPE expectations, and incident reporting processes.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, GMP-regulated manufacturing, or related environments.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP requirements, quality systems, compliance documentation, and audit readiness practices.
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, or service providers within highly regulated operations.
  • Proven ability to monitor performance through KPIs, service level agreements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a focus on compliance, customer service, and operational excellence.
