Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Food Service Manager 2 to assist with overseeing our dining operations at St. Joseph Villa in Flourtown, Pennsylvania.  St. Joe's Villa is Catholic senior living community with over 300 retired sisters and lay residents.  The Food Service Manager will be hands-on, moving from front of house to back of house. Typical shift is 10:00am - 6:00pm, may vary with every other weekend coverage. Bring your passion for hospitality to a team that values excellence, community, and care. 

What You'll Do

  • assist in overseeing daily front of house and back of house operations for one main dining room and 12 satellite dining areas;
  • ensure timeliness of meal delivery;
  • manage a front-of-house team of approximately 12 staff members;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents and guests;
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met.
