Role Overview

Data is a competitive advantage at Sodexo—and we’re building the capabilities to prove it.

We’re hiring a Senior Data Project Manager to drive critical data initiatives supporting our Supply Management function.

You’ll own delivery of complex, cross-functional data programs end-to-end. That means aligning business and technology stakeholders, driving execution across data engineering and analytics teams, and ensuring what we build actually moves the needle. This isn’t about managing status—it’s about delivering outcomes at scale.

You’ll be part of Sodexo’s North America Data team, a centralized team supporting all business segments across the Americas. We operate like an internal data platform and product team—building reusable data assets, modern data pipelines, and advanced analytics capabilities that power the business.

In this role, you’ll work closely with data engineers, architects, and data scientists, helping bring everything from foundational data products to advanced analytics into production.

If you’re someone who thrives in ambiguity, knows how to drive alignment across competing priorities, and wants to lead data programs that have clear business impact—this is the kind of challenge you’re looking for.

This is a remote role with the preferred candidate able to work eastern time zone work hours to accommodate global meetings

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end execution of complex data programs and projects, ensuring delivery against quality, timeline, budget, and security objectives.
  • Manage and prioritize a portfolio of data initiatives, including roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and strategic priorities.
  • Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Serve as the central point of orchestration between the Data Office, IT, business stakeholders, integrators, and delivery teams.
  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks, steering committees, and executive reporting to support informed decision-making.
  • Monitor budgets, forecasts, performance metrics, and project risks while driving mitigation plans and issue resolution.
  • Identify and manage cross-program and cross-domain dependencies to ensure alignment and execution across multiple initiatives.
  • Deliver executive-level reporting, recommendations, and insights on portfolio health, KPIs, risks, and strategic outcomes

What We Offer

Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience. Salary offers are based on a candidate's specific criteria, like experience, skills, education, and training. Sodexo offers a comprehensive benefits package that may include:

  • Medical, Dental, Vision Care and Wellness Programs
  • 401(k) Plan with Matching Contributions
  • Paid Time Off and Company Holidays
  • Career Growth Opportunities and Tuition Reimbursement

More extensive information is provided to new employees upon hire.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience leading complex programs, projects, and portfolios in data, technology, or enterprise transformation environments.
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, data integration, ERP systems, APIs, analytics ecosystems, and enterprise data management.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies, delivery governance, budget management, and risk mitigation.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to drive results without direct authority.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance executive-level planning and hands-on execution.
  • Experience working in large-scale, cross-functional, and international environments.
  • Preferred: PMI or related project management certification, SAFe certification, and experience supporting Data Offices or enterprise data transformation programs.
