Catering Manager 4

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 - Catering for the Kansas State University located in Manhattan, KS.  This manager will directly oversee all premium sports catering operations at all KState venues.  Kansas State is a member of the Big XII family of schools and is located in Manhattan, Kansas.  Sodexo has the pleasure of providing the food service operations for the K-State Athletic Department.  K-State Athletics is one of the top tiered athletics programs in the United States and it is growing rapidly.  This is a highly visible position at a flagship account within Sodexo Universities.  This is a hands on position with excellent growth opportunities.

• identify customer needs and expectations 
• ensure that Sodexo and customer goals are aligned and met 
• educate and develop rapport with clients and promote partnerships 
• promote a customer/client centered culture that strives to exceed customer and client needs
• coordinate all unit catering initiatives to drive sales growth and track results
• maintain and improve service level resulting in increased customer satisfaction 

• ensure all HAACP standards are followed
• demonstrate resourcefulness and quick responsiveness to client and customer requests

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in catering, food production, or food service management or a related field
