Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a passionate Chef Manager to lead culinary operations at Aloha Nursing & Rehab Centre, a 130+ bed long-term care community in beautiful Kaneohe, Hawaii. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a modern dining program from the ground up, creating exceptional experiences for residents, employees, visitors, and guests while leading a dedicated team in a rewarding healthcare environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily culinary and dining operations, ensuring high-quality food, service, and presentation standards.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of approximately 12 frontline employees.
  • Manage scheduling, labor planning, inventory, purchasing, and food cost controls.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and regulatory requirements while enhancing the overall dining experience.

  • Proven ability to lead, train, and develop frontline teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety, inventory management, labor controls, and operational systems, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
