This showcase Sodexo account includes dining and facilities, employs up to 300 full and part-time employees, union and non-union, on the campus of Hobart & William Smith Colleges.  The Unit Controller / Office Manager is the senior leader responsible for managing all unit/account financial reporting in addition to the office operations. Our successful candidate will have expert analytical skills along with a successful financial background. This role will have a dual focus with 60% of time dedicated to account finance and 40% to office management. This role also supports the District Manager with unit and district projects related to dining and facilities operations. Combined services total $17M at HWS. The Unit Controller will also lead an office team of 3-4 administrative staff. The successful candidate will:- Actively participate in day-to-day activities such as people management;- Work with journal entries;- Complete accounts payable and receivable; - Be skilled in data analysis, audits, and reporting;- Work closely with District Manager on unit/district projects;- Have ample experience in accounting practices;- Reconcile accounts and input data; and- Be adaptability and organized.  Is this opportunity right for you? Sodexo’s executive leaders have a vision for the future and develop strategies that provide direct support to other leaders and teams in our varied operational areas while embodying our core values of Spirit of Progress, Team Spirit and Spirit of Service.The VP, NorAm Food Transformation will be an active member of the Region Marketing Service Operations Committee (RMSOC) and of the Noram Food transformation Committee and, in those capacities, will advise the Regional Leadership Committee in the definition and execution of the NorAm roadmaps on this initiative.The VP, NorAm Food Transformation will continue to operate with limited resources while leveraging key functions as Finance, M&A, Marketing, Digital and Strategy to help develop the go to market approach. The main challenge will be to develop the most complete understanding of existing and emerging models to then recommend the most appropriate capabilities to deploy in NorAm, in an extremely competitive and fluid environment. The successful candidate will:1) Review all existing and emerging B2B and B2C food production and distribution models in North America:- Develop North American 360 view of market trends, consumers and client’s needs and viable food models- Track all emerging players in this food transformation and keep an up-to-date tracking system- Analyze the gaps between Sodexo offer and consumers’ / clients’ expectations2) Develop a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the current market dynamics and keep this analysis constantly updated, in a very fluid environment 3) Maintain, present and support roadmap for the transformation:  - Identify needed capabilities and build / acquire / partner them           - Anticipate road blockers and support in the preparation of pilots and scalability - Ensure synergies, in case of external acquisitions, are crafted and delivered with success- Prepare and contribute to the local change management plans for operational teams - In case of external acquisitions, establish goals, metrics, and governance requirements for successful integrations.  4) Foster positive, productive, proactive relationships with a wide variety of cross functional partners in North America & at global levels:- Work hand in hand with Food platform, leverage the work done by the Digital, Data & Innovation team at Group level and other relevant work completed, building on the existing foundation to date. - Work very closely with the Finance and M&A teams to develop a comprehensive and up to date profiles of key competitors / acquisition targets.- Work strategically with the segments (Marketing, Strategy, Operations, Sales), remain very close to the business and understanding the trends on consumers demands Is this opportunity right for you?
