Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Vice President, Strategic Account Development to lead a team that will support client retention and business development for Campus Services - North America.  Reporting to the SVP Partnership Strategies & Solutions, this role will drive sustainable/profitable growth and retention by ensuring execution of solutioning and account-level strategic growth best practices; direct responsibility for solutioning and growth plans for key top revenue ($15M+) and complex accounts; facilitate development support teams to create a client/consumer-centric growth mindset focused on continuous innovation and program advancement; and lead an internal consulting group that will elevate the strategic planning process to an advanced consultative approach  This is a Remote leadership role with up to 20% travel Candidates can reside in any state within proximity to a major airport! The ideal candidate will:  - Oversee a team of 7 Directors of Strategic Account Development- Identify and develop a holistic strategy through planning process for top tier accounts ($15M+ in annual managed volume) - Lead business planning processes for top accounts - Bring innovation to accounts to drive growth and share of wallet - Utilize unique insight and data gathering practices to impact strategies for growth - Identify Key activities, milestones, and recovery activities based on needs - Lead follow-up to track impact through KPIs - Lead team to drive 3-year planning process for Large to mid-size accounts - Build and implement strategy by territory to drive continuous growth and program evolution - Track and leverage KPIs to determine best practices and influence strategic plans - Identify and implement best in class insight and data gathering and client communication - Act as Thought Leader and SME Industry leader - Bring best-in-class ideas and trends on meal plans, brands, space utilization, resident dining program analysis and approach, and organic growth - Lead the development of Client facing documents in area of expertise to engage, educate and expand business opportunities - Advise on expanded business opportunities; collaborate on cross sale initiatives in conjunction with new sales associate and operational leadership; proactively investigates business opportunities to expand existing partnerships  The ideal candidates will possess: - 10+ years of experience in leadership roles with ability to influence and effect change - High level of financial acumen - Deep understanding of food operations – Campus setting preferred- Experience with complex sales/retention processes - Ability to project impact of multi-faceted Campus changes - Experience and ability to collaborate and negotiate with clients - Ability to interface with Senior Leadership on both Sodexo and Client side - Experience and ability to collaborate with internal teams and impact results - Sodexo or industry expertise - Deep understanding of industry, client, and consumer pain points - Deep understanding, experience and active participation with Operations and Sales processes- Strong written & verbal communication skills  Compensation: Base Salary $130-185K (depending on experience & geography) + Annual Incentive Plan + Car AllowanceAt Sodexo, we believe every employee should have the resources to be their best. This is a virtual position and the ideal candidate may reside anywhere in the US.  The Vice President of Strategic Sourcing role will curate and manage a strong regional network of Facilities Management service providers. This role will be the business partner working with accounts to create the FM strategic sourcing strategy, client liaison, and single owner of Corporate Services IFM strategic sourcing results. The successful candidate will: Manage strategic sourcing solutions for IFM accounts- In a business partner capacity, gain understanding of specific needs and configure regional suppliers to meet business requirements.- Lead the alignment of strategic supplier relationships to deliver a nationally impactful and locally relevant stable of suppliers.- Formulates and executes sourcing and procurement strategies which make efficient use of company resources, identify market trends, identify short and long-term sourcing options, and identify short and long-term partnering opportunities with vendors.- Obtain the best price, quality and service for the products or supplies purchased.- Locate, qualify and approve vendors for purchases and obtain pricing information.- Prepare and evaluate vendor bid or quote specifications.- Develop and implement creative and aggressive cost containment programs by establishing supplier criteria and developing vendor relationships.- Negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.- Negotiate with vendors to obtain optimum quality, price, availability, delivery, freight and terms.- Develop and assures that purchasing activities follow applicable internal control standards.- Maintain the highest level of Integrity in vendor interactions.Manage outcomes and operational effectiveness- Manage vendor key performance indicators (KPI’s) and fee at risk (FAR’s)- Lead regional standardization of supply chain management- Maintain account and client relationships to identify and document strategic sourcing needs, making continual improvements to ensure the supplier network stay current. Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have:- A minimum of fifteen 10 - 15 years experience of leading strategic sourcing initiatives specifically for hard and soft FM services- Experience building a sourcing program- Solid understanding of the corporate FM industry and experience working with an FM service provider- Experience working on large scale bids and able to negotiate large deals- Ability to use metrics and reporting software to support presentations (internal, client facing and external)  This position pays a starting salary in the $175K - $200K base range depending on experience, and is bonus eligible.Not the job for you?
