Join a team of dietitians who are passionate about their profession, with patients at the heart of everything we do.Sodexo is seeking a full time Registered Dietitian to join the clinical nutrition team at Capital Health (CH) Hopewell campus in Pennington, NJ. This position will support a combination of both inpatient acute care and our state-of-the-art Metabolic & Weight Loss Center Program. This is a temporary position lasting ~6 months but the individual can stay in this role up to 18 months if continued support is needed. The successful candidate will:- Split their time between the inpatient & outpatient setting;- Utilize the Nutrition Care Process in assessing the patient;- Conduct Nutrition-Focused Physical Exams on patients to identify malnutrition;- Educate patients and develop and lead classes, clinics, support groups, etc. for metabolic weight loss patients;- Maintain extensive knowledge of obesity treatments;- Coordinate care in the outpatient setting, as well as, participate in multidisciplinary care team rounds, current work groups, hospital-wide committees and community outreach events;- Participate in performance improvement and/or outcome measurement initiatives;- Mentor/coach Dietetic Interns.Is this opportunity right for you?
