Develops and maintains tools for training, evaluation, and quality assurance of operational programs.  Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence and Deployment, this position supports training and development of frontline and new culinary staff, menu development, culinary development of the programs/platforms, financial plate costing and USMC food management systems (MCFMIS) over a large area. You will provide subject matter expertise to the organization in food trends and future menu development.  Implementation and evaluation of culinary programs with a focus on recipe compliance, quality and presentation. We are looking for candidates who will have:- Emphasis on food presentation, quality, execution, menu design & implementation;- Focus on customer service excellence- Demonstrated experience providing strong leadership, including supervision, direction and training, to a diverse team of employee- Focus on food and physical safety and sanitation- Experience managing food and labor cost controls to meet targets- Culinary Degree or five years as an Executive or Area Chef a plus. The ideal candidate has:  - demonstrated leadership and proactive project management skills to monitor and enhance contract compliance and processes.- demonstrated skills in creating core menus, special menus and recipe development. - demonstrated ability to actively follows trends and can effectively translate those trends into viable product concepts within the contract parameters- the ability to partner with operational teams, supply management, operations support and marketing partners to develop “best in class” food and service offerings- outstanding presentation skills, able to take viewers on a journey highlighting passion for product- the understanding of Sodexo’s USMC business – serving both customers and clients- the able to pass security requirements for base access and travel to base locations in assigned geography.
