Sodexo, Inc: Project Manager – North Bethesda, MD DUTIES:- Hold facility project teams accountable to timelines and commitments, ensuring a seamless, successful implementation.- Direct interaction with clients to drive approved scope to implementation success.- Ensure engineering related projects are not overdesigned and be able to control scope to get most of the budget.- Ensure that all relevant parties have a clear vision of project objectives.- Clearly document and distribute all relevant items for the team, i.e., project meeting minutes and scope of design, project schedule summary, etc.- Regularly monitor facility projects against budget and flags team when project/timeline/budget deviate. Ensure that any relevant changes ins cope items result in revised documents and an updated approval from clients as needed.- Identify and prioritize risks in risk register document, create mitigation strategy documents, proactively and effectively communicate risks in a timely manner, and manage issues.- Regularly monitor client satisfaction levels, consider feedback carefully, and coordinate appropriate action to ensure client feels heard, supported, and reassured that the project is on track.- Escalate concerns to the management team, as needed.- Maintain a close overall focus on customer satisfaction, quality of service delivery, and proactive communication.- Manage Internal and External Client Expectations related to requirements.- Must multi-task and prioritize job requirements to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.- Foster strong relationship with clients and build trust with co-workers and clients.- Communicate to the right audience, intentionally and effectively, with appropriate messaging, delivery, and thoughtful timing.- Other duties as assigned within area of responsibility. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture or closely related construction and project management field. 1 year of Project Management and/or Construction Management in critical facilities or MEP infrastructure field overseeing complex capital improvement projects. (Acceptable occupations/titles may include, but is not limited to: Project Engineer, Project Manager, Civil Intern/Project Manager). Demonstrated knowledge of project management processes including planning, time management, financial management, quality management, risk management, monitoring and reporting, documenting and recordkeeping. Knowledge may be demonstrated through education, training and/or experience. SALARY: $98,800 - $120,000/year                                                         LOCATION: 915 Meeting Street, North Bethesda, MD 20852.  Position will be based out of Sodexo Headquarters and may be assigned to various unanticipated client locations throughout the US for short- or long-term assignments.  May be authorized for full time or part time telecommuting.

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will support a large pharmaceutical client with day to day oversight of specialized manufacturing equipment. This position will be the main point of contact for managing, scheduling and execution of all equipment calibration and maintenance activities.  Key Responsibilities- Serve as a primary point of contact at the Flex STERILE Center for troubleshooting equipment issues and scheduling calibration/maintenance activities. Review customer requests and ensure the required work is executed on time.- Manage vendors performing calibration and preventative maintenance work in the Flex STERILE Center – request quotes, issue PO’s, review JSA’s, ensure vendor qualifications, schedule work escort vendors, and review and file completed documentation.- Responder for the Flex STERILE Center Environmental Monitoring System. Take action as procedurally required to any and all alarms at all hours.- Operator of the USP water system required for clinical manufacturing equipment and facility cleaning: review weekly vendor monitoring documentation, arrange quarterly maintenance, respond to alarms, and coordinate repairs as necessary.- Work with Quality Engineering, Development Quality, and Operations to complete documentation to quarantine and release GMP clinical manufacturing areas before and after intrusive work or events have occurred.- Create, execute, enter, and review/approve work orders and calibrations in the CMMS (SAP) and CCMS (ProCal) as required.- Tour the facility and penthouse daily to ensure all systems are in operation and occupants are satisfied with the building’s operation and condition.- Serve as liaison between customers and services such as HVAC, janitorial, lab services, pest control, waste management, and engineering/projects.- Work with Quality Engineering during qualification of the HVAC Systems, USP Water Generation and Distribution Skids, Environmental Chambers, process equipment, process utilities, and area environmental monitoring.- Initiate and complete QNs, CAPAs, and Audit Responses in Merck quality system on behalf of Sodexo/Merck FM as needed.- Attend internal/external quality audits and work with area management and quality engineering to provide documentation when requested.- Attend weekly planning and scheduling meetings with area supervisors and planners to determine work priorities, schedule, and maintain future backlog of work orders.- Assist area planners to determine location, scope and details of work orders entered by requestors. This position will report onsite. Position Summary: Ensures that wastewater generated during pharmaceutical manufacturing processes is managed, treated, and disposed of in a manner that is environmentally sustainable, compliant with regulations, and protective of public health and the environment. This person will collect water samples, take measurements of the water quality and makes adjustments to the chemical process accordingly in order to maintain compliance prior to disposal and/or release.Key Responsibilities:- Subject Matter Expert for Wastewater & Storm Water operations- Manage related personnel, SOPs, work orders, projects & systems- Laboratory Manager / AQ officer for NJDEP Certification of continuous pH monitoring- Maintain & provide reports to client regarding KPIs, prepare and provide Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) to client.- Utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to analyze current and past operation. - Attend client meetings and support initiatives. - Develop and implement capital improvement and maintenance or repair projects, managing these from inception to completion. - Prepare job packages (RFQ’s), send out for bid, and manage work for maintenance not covered under the collective bargaining agreement. Will oversee all contracted maintenance work for quality assurance and work with planners to plan all work and develop the necessary parts procurement orders.- Montor compliance for all aspects of permitted outfalls. - Main open communications with the manger and client regarding operations and malfunctions, as well as make recommendations for repairs and improvements to these systems. - Complete and rectify monthly safety audit action items. - Provide periodic on-call coverage for emergency response and may occasionally be required to provide management coverage when necessary. - Considered essential personnel and will report to the facility during adverse weather conditions when the facility may be closed. The ideal candidate will possess:- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Marine or Civil/Environmental Engineering with 5 years of experience in Wastewater operation and management or High School Diploma or Equivalent with 15 years of experience.-  N2 Industrial Wastewater License required.- Basic knowledge of State and Federal rules governing water discharge such as the Clean Water Act and NJ Field Sampling Manual.- Working knowledge of the operation, methods, and procedures of a boiler operations (desired).- Thorough knowledge of wastewater equipment and their associated mechanical equipment such as pumps, fans, compressors, water treatments and the ability to diagnose and correct equipment malfunction.- Extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of industrial wastewater systems.- Previous experience with regulatory audits and responses required.- Good computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products:  Excel, Word, Outlook, along with utilization of CMMS (SAP experience a plus).-  Ability to descend and climb a maximum of 30 rungs to access system pump stations and to lift up to 50 lbs.  Working for Sodexo:How far will your ambition, talent and dedication take you?
