Sodexo is seeking an Endpoint Engineer to become a pivotal member of the Digital Workplace team.  The Endpoint Engineer will assist in the management and enhancement of Sodexo North America's Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Solutions, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance across our digital workplace. This is a remote role with the preferred candidate residing in the Eastern or Central Time Zones.   Assist in the creation and maintenance of Sodexo’s Windows client standard builds, solutions and processes within North America utilizing various tools, methods, and best practices while adapting these to Global standards.Employ scripting methods for automation of software packages, operating system builds, and other administrative tasks. Leverage a mix of legacy and modern device management platforms like Microsoft Intune to streamline the deployment of software, configurations, and updates. This approach facilitates automatic installations, system settings adjustments, and the management of patches, security standards, asset inventories, and reporting, all aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and compliance.Works closely with IT Information Security to ensure the endpoint devices are secure and compliant with Sodexo and industry security standards Offers guidance and assistance, working in close collaboration with the Sodexo Service Desk and remote technicians, to resolve high-priority issues that have been escalated, ensuring timely resolution. The successful candidate will:- Forge strategic partnerships with Global Unified Endpoint Management and regional teams, championing the harmonization of endpoint management practices to uphold Sodexo's international and regional standards.- Act as a primary liaison, providing expert guidance and support to internal teams, aiding in the swift resolution of escalated technical issues.- Collaborate with Information Security to uphold the highest security and compliance standards across all user-facing technologies.- Ensure alignment with Global Standards and Processes- Provide support when working with various teams to develop new project initiatives or mitigate other solutions.- Design and implement sophisticated scripting solutions to automate critical administrative functions and project initiatives, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.- Provide advice to the Sodexo Service Desk when issues require escalation.- Direct the evaluation and continuous needs assessment for device management solutions and processes to ensure Sodexo North America remains at the forefront of technological innovation and maintains alignment with global organizational standards.- Collaborates with various project teams to meet the necessary technical objectives and timelines for hardware and software deployment projects, as well as for the research and development within the Sodexo North America device management infrastructureIs this the right opportunity for you?  We are seeking candidates that have/are:- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and deployment strategies, including the use of Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager for device management.- Proficiency in automation and scripting languages to optimize software installations and system configurations.- Knowledge of end-user hardware and productivity/collaboration applications including Microsoft 365 products.- Proficient in modern infrastructure technologies, including Cloud services (Azure/AWS), Virtual Desktop (VDI), Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platforms like MS Intune and IBM MaaS360.- Knowledgeable of broad infrastructure solutions and technologies including Cloud Computing, Service Management, Identity Access Management, Collaboration Tools, and Networking fundamentals.- Familiarity and best practices for use of security tools on endpoints and usage of antivirus and encryption systems.- Demonstrated ability to manage high-priority escalations, offering technical governance, and ensuring alignment with enterprise-wide security and compliance standards.- Knowledgeable with administering accounts and managing access rights.- Strong understanding of change management practices.- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, contributing to a positive work environment and fostering open communication to achieve collective goals.- Mac experience preferredSodexo offers a full array of benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision, 401K and access to ongoing training and development programs, tuition reimbursement, plus health and wellness programs. Not the job for you?At Sodexo, we have numerous IS&T positions that support this and other initiatives with similar goals. Continue your search for IS&T jobs.Working for Sodexo:Sodexo fosters a culture committed to the growth of individuals through continuous learning, mentoring and career growth opportunities.
