  • Administration of the Frontier reconciliation software system including:
  • Setup new balance pools
  • Create and modify import formats
  • Monitor and perform match pass maintenance
  • Establish and monitor FTP transmissions
  • Schedule and maintain system jobs
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of system
  • Update and maintain training manuals
  • Define and generate reports through Crystal Reports
  • Execute purge process
  • Perform daily systems monitoring, verify the successful completion of scheduled jobs and on-going system operation including:
    • Timely escalation and resolution of system balancing and production issues
    • Timely load of data files: bank, credit card, cashless solutions, payroll positive pay files and SAP
    • Validate balances to ensure data integrity and completeness
    • Perform procedures to calculate and concentrate cash from selected US and Canadian depository bank accounts
    • Produce departmental reports
  • Serve as backup for performing several custom applications including import lookup tables from SAP, SoGo escheatment process, automated journal entries and payroll tracker.

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting or MIS preferred
  • 2 years related banking, IT and/or accounting experience
  • Experience managing a client server application, preferably Frontier
  • Basic understanding of SQL
  • Basic understanding of programming concepts
  • Basic knowledge of an Object Orientated Programming Language (C# preferred)
  • Good understanding of relational database design concepts

Sodexo is seeking a Computer Support Services Manager - Point of Sale (POS) Manager for Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ.  The Computer Support Services Manager will oversee the daily operation and troubleshooting for 65 on site POS systems in 30 dining locations on this large university account - including resident dining, retail, catering and concessions.  Annual sales volume of $30M.  In addition to managing the pricing inputs and troubleshooting of POS systems, this position will support social media, mobile aps, mobile ordering, digital marketing and manage the computer programs and functions of this account - including office IT needs and functions.

 

In this technical support role, the successful candidate will provide daily operational support related to dining services technology needs on this campus.  Duties include: Ensuring POS Systems are always up and operational. Monitoring, resolving, or escalating POS system issues. Performing quality assurance testing of new hardware and software.  Provides root cause analysis on reported problems.  Provides trouble-shooting for network, POS hardware, or software issues within the POS network.  Assists in the administration of servers, operating systems, updates, anti-virus and routine maintenance.  Monitors the status of servers, workstations, POS terminals, and peripheral equipment used by the POS system.  Assists in the configuration of POS equipment and devices.

 

The best qualified candidate will have the following:

 

- Experience in a POS environment

- Hands-on experience in a client server environment

- Cbord / micros 9700 / simphony experience

- Technical proficiency with POS hardware & configurations: networking & security: Windows Server 2008

- Thorough knowledge of PCI requirements and how they relate to a POS systems

- Technical proficiency with Microsoft operating systems

- Ability to learn new software and hardware, team-oriented, hands-on, and results-driven

- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed within a 24/7 on call basis

 

Additional competencies include:

The successful candidate will support our on-campus POS system, internet network, server and multiple PC's in our growing department.  

 

In this hands-on technical support role, the successful candidate will:

 

  • Provide daily operational support related to dining services technology needs on this campus and provide on-going support to dining services staff who may not be as technically savvy
  • Ensure POS Systems are always up and operational including monitoring, resolving, and escalating POS system issues
  • Perform quality assurance testing of new hardware and software

Responsibilities

Day to day maintenance and support of the Sodexo physical and virtual server infrastructure including Operating System administration.  The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the Operating Systems and hardware meet defined Service Levels for performance, availability and security. 

 

Primary Duties include: 

    • Responsible for engineering infrastructure solutions to meet business requirements in line with architectural standards and industry best practices
    • Responsible for the administration and support of the UNIX server environment as well Installation, deployment, patch management, security configuration, and troubleshooting.
    • Day to day system problem resolution, hardware fix activities, and working with vendors to resolve issues
    • Support and Maintain Sodexo virtualization environment according to vendor and industry best practices for AIX, Red Hat and IBM PureSystems
    • Collect and compile data for reporting on capacity and compliance thresholds
    • Ensure that systems are configured according to established department standards
    • Ensure that systems are reliable for performance, availability and security
    • Participate and assist with technical refreshes, project design, and implementation

Secondary Duties may include:

    • Backup and Recovery of systems as needed
    • Virtual Platform Infrastructure & Hypervisor support
    • SAN LUN masking and Switch zoning
